This course intends to transmit the necessary resources to those who want to go a little further in winter mountain terrain in more demanding routes.

Pre-Requirements – To have experience in classic style alpinism or have attended the Introduction to Alpine Mountaineering Course or Intermediate Mountaineering Course

Duration 40h
- 8h of theory given in two after work classes
- 32h of practice given in one day of a weekend and three days of an extended weekend

- Analyzing dangers in Alpine terrain - Personal and collective equipment - Progression techniques on inclined outstanding : ice ax traction; - Assembly meetings in mixed terrain and ice - Movable security placement points in mixed terrain and ice - Route Planning - Overnight and bivouac in mountain
